Schools and Educations After Earthquake 2015

The gigantic earthquake hit Nepal on 25th Apr 2015 at 11:56 AM, which brought tears everyone’s eyes of Gorkha including other fourteen districts of western Nepal. Thousands of people were killed, became homeless and millions of were injured some of them still in the bed of hospitals. The following days of the earthquake there was relief fund was raised in each and every corner of the worlds, many helping hands were helped the victims. Many NGOs, INGOs, were raised fund and distributes to the victims. But still there is very hard to run life as previous days of 25th April. Peoples have made some cottage by local materials with the help of donated Zink-sheets, Top-lin, and Tents; somehow they are managing their settlement, even all of them required more supports and help.Nepal_School_Photos

It is very hard to teach and learn. The natural disaster earthquake is spoiling the future of students, which directly affected in the nation. Vijaya Dashami

Dashain is a biggest and most auspicious festival of Hindu people. It is falls on months of Aswin/ Kartik (October/ November) according to the Nepali lunar calendar for 15 days. The festival celebrates with worshiping goddess Durga! All Hindu people worship her with numerous pujas and animal sacrifices. During the festival all schools, government office, and other private offices remain close. The weather is very clean and azure sky, no dust, no mud, and also all peoples are feeling tranquil. And also the people returns from every parts world to celebrate the festival in their own home, who are visiting many countries in order to for job or study.

Dashain is a festibamboo-swing-dashain-570x400val that is celebrates for predictable victory of justice over injustice. Durga, the Goddess of Victory is worshipped with great fidelity in first nine days that is known as Nava Ratri. Dashain Festival -15 Days

Day-01 Ghatasthapana:
Today is the first days of Dahsain. Every household prepare a perfect Kalas (pot filled with water) that is decorated with dong of cow and plating the Jamara in pure sands collected from holy rivers or stone tap by using the seeds of barley, maize in worshiping room. That will be put on head on auspicious day Dashami with Red-Tika.

Day-02 to 06 is generally the period of preparation for Dashain Festival, arranging the swing, refine and rebuild the tracks of villages, cleaning campaign in village, organizing some religious program and others.

Day-07 Fulpati:
Fulpati (Saptami)Today is the day that commences worshiping in Goddess Temple with sacrificing the animals. The National Soldiers: Army, Police, and Armed Police celebrate with firing guns, saluting the Goddess and Sacrificing male goat (which should not have to be vasectomy) in their own barrack’s temples.

Today, the Fulpati (worshiping materials) is bringing from Gorkha Kalika Durbar, the first kingdom of Nepal to Kathmandu. Legendry King Pritivi Narayan Shah conquered the all small stated that was called Baaise – Chaubise (22-24 State) and make a large country Nepal. Then King moved to Kathmandu and chosen Kathmandu Durbar for his own Palace at Hanuman Dhoka, before he moved to Kathmandu he was worshiping in Gorkha from where he was also blessed by Gorkhnath Baba. In regards this he wanted to bring the Gorkha’s Fulpati and worship at Hanuman Dhoka with that Fulpati. The same trend is continuing till today.

Today is also continue the worshiping of Goddess and sacrificing the animals.

Day-09 Maha Nawami:
Today is also continue the worshiping in every Goddess Temple; also in most popular Temple give worship goddess with Panchabali (sacrificing five different animals:- Male Goat, Male Buffalo, Ram, Egg of Swan, Kuvindo (Benincasa Hispida/Gourd).

Day-10 Vijaya Dashami:
Today is the day all we receive the Tika aDashainnd Jamara from our elders.

Day-11-15 After Tika:
This five days is celebrates in order to take Tika and Jamara from other relatives who are not in close distance. Especially, for kids travelling to Mamaghar (a house of maternal uncle) with Dad Mom, visit to other seniors relatives. It goes up to Kojagrat Purnima (Full Moon). And in the morning of Purnima all peoples take out the Kalash and Jamara pot and drop off at holy river or temple.

Teej festival always falls on the late August or early of September, according to the Nepali lunar calendar third day of Bhadra Shukla Pakshya. The festival especially dedicated to the God Shiva and Goddess Parvati.Teej Special

Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival clouds and rain, greenery and birds with social activity. Singing, dancing and having feast is the main attraction of the festival.

Specially Teej Celebrates Three Days:

First Day of Teej: Dar Khane Din

Before the day (Dar Khane Din) Hindu people already have celebrated the Shrikrishna Jansmathami, when most of women have fasting and in the evening before breaking fast, they sing and dace in the Krishna Temple. From the day women hits the Teej festival.

Today is the officially first day Darof Teej, to celebrate the festival all married and unmarried women gather in a house/place and start singing and dancing in devotional Nepali folk song. Especially married
women go to the own mother’s home, where they will get chance to share the experience with childhood friends, elder sisters and younger sisters. In the evening there will be heavy feast, which is knowing as Dar, verities of foods, fruits, juices, and vegetables.

Second Day of Teej: Fasting Day
Today is the main day of the festival, all Hindu women worship to the GDancing atod Mahadev (Shiva) in order to good and prosperous health of own husband.

Some women keep it very strict they will live without any piece of fruits and drop of water too whereas some others will take fruits and water.

Today all Shiva mandir are opening for women, especially in Kathmandu, Pashupatinath, where male are not allow for the day.

Third Day – Rishi Panchami- Worshiping Day

To pay the homage to the various deities today all women specially whose menstrual period has started goes to the tap and takes baPujathe with red mud and root of sacred Datiwan bush (ACHYRAWHES BIDENTATA). After taking bathes women are considered forgiven from all their sins.

And finally festival ends with singing and dancing.
